Video: Robbie Hummel addresses media following Pacers predraft workout

Former Purdue forward Robbie Hummel was back in his home state to workout for the Indiana Pacers Friday. Hummel admitted that the last few weeks have been crazy and he feels like he’s been living in airports.

Hummel went through workouts for 11 different teams and has two more (Charlotte, Toronto) scheduled. Many teams will be cautious with Hummel, who has fought back from two recent ACL injuries. However, the Purdue graduate says he’s feeling better than ever.

“This is definitely the best I’ve played, maybe ever, to be honest. I feel like shooting the ball, I’ve been very good.”

As for what he has to offer: “I think somebody that understands the game, somebody that plays hard every position. My biggest strength is probably my perimeter shooter…I feel like I’m a pretty good rebounder, maybe a little bit underrated. Defensively, I feel like I can guard well in a defensive concept — help, recover and rotate…I think I can be like a Jared Dudley type of player.”
