Pacers to make “Major Announcement” Wednesday

The Indiana Pacers are scheduled to make a “major announcement” Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Entry Pavilion of Bankers Life Fieldhouse, the organization said Monday.

The announcement will involve Pacers Sports & Entertainment President & Chief Operating Officer Rick Fuson, and other dignitaries.

From what I have been told, this is a corporate announcement with Southwest Airlines – now the official airline of the …

Site Update: New Contributors Wanted

It’s crazy to believe that it’s been more than seven years since I started a sports website of my own to share observations, write about teams I was following anyways, and connect with all of you. This site has been going strong for six and half years, in fact. And I’m dedicated to make it an even better destination for sports fans in Indiana.

New Pacers season, new expectations

Just a week into training camp, the Pacers’ first preseason game is already here.

There wasn’t much of an offseason due to a long playoff run, the team’s free agency moves, Paul George and USA Basketball, a few players playing in the FIBA World Cup; shortly thereafter, players had found their way back to Indianapolis for training camp.

Following my passion, it’s on to a new chapter

On this day, July 25, back in 2003, I began a fun part-time job that would ultimately have a unforeseeable impact on my young life. That’s the day I began working at Pacers Sports & Entertainment.

After landing the job, my goal was to not let this site …

I’m Back…

Just in time for the craziness that is March Madness, I’m back where my online presence (outside social media) first got started.

A friend of mine started a site and used it as a platform to give his thoughts and provide his unique insights into what happened. I saw that and realized this was something I needed to get rolling with. Technically advanced as it …

Notre Dame accepts invite to Atlantic Coast Conference

The University of Notre Dame has made a command decision by accepting an invitation to become a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference beginning the 2013-14 school and athletic year. This will include all sports, except football. Football will stay as an independent. Because it’s leaving before the required 27 month window that the Big East has asked of them, Notre Dame will owe …
