Source: Eric Gordon to defend 3-point contest title at 2018 All-Star Weekend

Houston Rockets guard Eric Gordon has accepted an invitation to participate in the three-point contest at the 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend, a league source told VigilantSports.com.

Gordon will defend his 2017 title, where he beat out Klay Thompson, Kyrie Irving, Kyle Lowry, Kemba Walker, Wesley Matthews, CJ McCollum, and Nick Young.

The three-point contest will be held on Saturday, Feb. 17 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

The Indianapolis product was drafted seventh overall in 2008 by the Clippers, and he played his first three seasons there before being included in the trade that brought Chris Paul to L.A. from New Orleans.
