Frank Vogel trains at Katie Douglas’ Orangetheory Fitness

Orangetheory Fitness in Greenwood announced on Facebook recently that it would have a mystery coach in for a morning session. That person has professional coaching experience, but not in this environment.

Former Pacers head coach Frank Vogel, in Indy to spend time with friends during the offseason, made the 35-minute or so drive from Carmel down south to Greenwood to a very special Orangetheory Fitness.

Katie Douglas, a starter for the Indiana Fever from 2008-13 but now retired from the WNBA after 14 years, opened up a franchise that specializes in heart rate interval-based training during one-hour sessions.

“You’re constantly moving and every day it’s a different workout,” Douglas explained in January on the podcast.

They are located at 1675 W. Smith Valley Road in Greenwood. (Click here for more information.)

10 days ago, Vogel was spotted at Crooked Stick Golf Club by Eddie White, the host of Pacers Overtime.
