Paul George is the face of the Indiana Pacers, and with Myles Turner the two have quickly become a dynamic duo. George is 26 while Turner is the youngest player on the team, at 20 years old.

After combining for 55 points and 24 rebounds in their 130-121 win over Dallas to open the new season, Myles Turner put George above anyone else … in the entire league.

“It may sound like I’m just saying it because I’m his teammate, but I know when I say Paul George is the best player in the league,” Turner said, appearing on The Starting Lineup on SiriusXM NBA Radio with Frank Isola and Brian Scalabrine.

“The stuff he is able to do off the ball and on the ball is incredible. He sees plays before they even happen. He’s able to direct guy in the right direction. I think that’s what it takes to be MVP. He’s shown everything. He’s got it all. He’s a two-way player, he can shoot the heck out of the ball and he’s a great communicator.

“He’s helped me a lot, especially coming off my rookie season. Being able to know what to do and know what every position is able to do. I’m expecting huge things from him this season.”
