Pacers 2016 Pre-Draft Workouts: Stephen Zimmerman, UNLV

One of two 7-footers the Pacers brought in on Wednesday for their fourth pre-draft workout was Stephen Zimmerman. The name may sound familiar to fans in Indiana because he was recruited hard in Bloomington by Tom Crean and staff.

Zimmerman played one year at UNLV, averaging 10.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game in his lone season in college. Playing in the NBA has been a dream of his for quite a while and now he’s pursuing it.

The No. 1 thing he has to do is add weight to his 7-foot, 235-pound frame. League executives have been asking him where he plays best, power forward or center. He believes that he could play either, depending on matchups.
