Bankers Life Fieldhouse felt the Indy power surge, causing a 22-minute delay.
Play was stopped at the 4:32 mark of the second quarter Tuesday night between the Pacers and Phoenix Suns after the main power went out. At 7:53 p.m. ET, the majority of the lights inside Bankers Life Fieldhouse went off due to an external power issue, which caused a stoppage in play.
The outage was not limited to the Fieldhouse. Fan reaction on Twitter made it clear that surges were felt throughout the city, even up to Westfield.
After about 19 minutes, lead official Marc Davis talked to both coaches, Frank Vogel and Jeff Hornacek, at mid-court and they decided to continue the game.
Following the 22-minute outage, play resumed with the Pacers trailing the Suns, 36-34. Over the final 4:32, the Pacers outscored the Suns 18-6 to take a 52-42 halftime lead.

This is the second time in nine days that a Pacers game has been slowed by a power issue. In their 103-100 overtime loss at Miami on Jan. 4, the game was held up for approximately 26 minutes.
