VIDEO: Pacers handle Bulls for 10th win in 12 games

The Pacers used a 17-2 first-quarter run to jump out in front of their division rival, the Chicago Bulls, Friday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse. They led by as many as 17 points in their 104-92 victory, No. 10 on the season.

It started at the defensive end for the Pacers. They dug in and continue to take pride in that end of the floor, which has led to their early success. They have now won 10 of their last 12 games after an 0-3 start, and are in second place in the Eastern Conference standings.

But yes, it’s still very early.

Paul GeorgeĀ scored 33, his fifth time this season with at least 30 points. Despite receiving his league-high fifth technical of the season, George stayed locked in and took out his frustration on the offensive end.

The Pacers head west on Saturday. They’ll begin a four-game roadie Sunday evening in Los Angeles against Kobe, Roy and the sad 2-12 Lakers.
