AUDIO: Glenn Robinson III on his role with the Pacers and an impressive preseason showing

The Pacers signed Glenn Robinson III, enamored with his athleticism and skills. He’s entering his second NBA season, so the potential is there.

During the preseason, the Indiana native averaged 10.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.3 assists per game. (His points per game average was second only to Paul George.) He reached double figures in each of the final four practice games. He shot 53.8 percent from the floor and 46.7 from range.

He’s an intriguing player with great potential. But just how much with Frank Vogel utilize him this season, especially with a logjam of wings? We shall see.

“He’s not just shooting the ball well, but he’s making pretty good decisions out there,” said Vogel, who felt Robinson exceeded his expectations. “You feel good when he’s making an attack to the basket.”
