Orlando Johnson putting up big numbers in the Philippines

How about this slam from OJ the other night?

How about this slam from OJ the other night?

Former Pacers guard Orlando Johnson has played exceptionally well in his short time in the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

Johnson, who the Pacers traded up to select at No. 36 in the 2012 NBA Draft, joined Barangay Ginebra San Miguel at the first of the month and is showing out. (Since the first of the year, he played in the NBA’s Developmental League with the Austin Spurs.)

In each of the last three games, he’s recorded a double-double, scored at least 46 points, and made better than 58 percent of his shots, 48-of-82. Last week, he dropped 50 points.

May 13 (against Kia Sorento): 47 points (15-of-25 FGs), 17 rebounds, and four assists.
May 10 (against Talk ‘N Text — seriously): 46 points (16-of-27 FGs), 13 rebounds, and three assists.
May 8: 50 points (17-of-30 FGs), 10 rebounds, and two assists.

Watch video evidence of OJ’s one-handed slam, which was even more impressive because it came in transition and after he spun to his right, below:
