The lesson here today is don’t let former NBA star turned basketball analyst Charles Barkley drive. A person of his fame is used to being catered to, both in the NBA and now in his current role with Turner. Chartered flights, limos, and first-class service are the norm.
And that’s, in part, what made the Capital One commercial below hysterical.
Barkley, Samuel L. Jackson, and Spike Lee apparently chose to road trip to Indianapolis, home of the 2015 NCAA Men’s Final Four. (Again, unlikely, but that adds another layer of comedy.)
“Wake up fellas, we’re finally here,” Barkley, who’s behind the wheel, shouts. “In the Annapolis.”
Annapolis … the city in Maryland. No, Charles, it’s in INDIANAPOLIS.
