Vogel provides injury updates — George Hill out until December

The hits keep on coming for the Pacers. After seven games (1-6), they now have a injury list with seven names on it — with Roy Hibbert the latest to be added.

“We just have to weather the story,” head coach Frank Vogel said Saturday of all the injuries. “That’s what it’s all about.”

The Pacers’ 7-foot-2 center appeared to bump knees in the second quarter. He then went to the locker room with head athletic trainer Josh Corbeil and did not return. He was not seen in the locker room postgame and after the game, Vogel said Hibbert was day-to-day with a bruised left knee.

Following the Pacers’ sixth straight loss, 97-90 at home to the Washington Wizards, Vogel updated us on the status of those on the injury report.

David West (sprained right ankle): “Probably towards the end of next week.”

C.J. Watson (bruised right foot): “Same [as David], maybe even a little bit longer. Maybe a week beyond that.”

George Hill (left knee contusion): “George is probably into December.”

Roy Hibbert (bruised left knee): “We’ll see how he is tomorrow and Monday. Hopefully that’s not long term.”

Rodney Stuckey (sore left foot): “Rodney will be evaluated early next week. Probably won’t be available Monday but we’ll see where he’s at early next week.”

C.J. Miles (migraine): “He’s going to go through some evaluations tomorrow, some further testing with his migraine symptoms.”
