Indiana guard Victor Oladipo is off to a fast start in his sophomore year and he has contributed greatly to the Hoosiers 2-0 start.

In the season-opener against Stony Brook, Oladipo tied a career-high with 16 points and then followed it up with a new career-high of 21 points in a win over Chattanooga.

After throwing down a huge dunk or making an energy play, this season Oladipo has displayed a gesture (seen right) as he sprints down the floor. Fans, media and twitter was buzzing about what it was all about. Oladipo explains below.

“It’s a little thing that me and one of my best friends from back home has. Quinn Cook, he goes to Duke University. You put your hand between your nose, and it’s like ‘know us.’ Like know Indiana basketball. It’s just something to get me motivated.”

“During the year, Coach Crean always told me I’ve got to find something to get me going and not have him getting on me to get me going. And that’s just something that one of my best friends told me to try to do to get myself going. I’m just going to try and see if that works.”
