Due to the recent success and late season success, Butler gear is in high demand. Dawg fans, alumni, and family in Indianapolis are headed to the spirit shop inside Hinkle Fieldhouse. Those outside the city are limited to the online store.
Quite a few readers have sent me an email or replied to the post where I said Matt Howard’s jersey should be retired and hung inside Hinkle Fieldhouse. Using my resources, I can see how visitors land on Vigilant Sports. Since Butler clinched their ticket to Houston, lots of new people have been linked to that article, searching to buy a jersey.
The official spirit shop store can be found inside Gate 4 at Hinkle Fieldhouse. As you would expect, merchandise is flying off the shelves. The online store can be found here. Those searching for Matt Howard’s jersey will be disappointed that they do not sell the seniors jersey. A source told me they do sell the #1 and #5 jersey of Shelvin Mack and Ronald Nored respectively. Better put your order in ASAP.
In addition to Butler, the NCAA has an official online store where you can purchase all your Final Four gear.
The address of the gift shop is 510 W. 49th St. Indianapolis, IN 46208. They can be reached by phone at (317) 940-8890. Store hours were extended Sunday to sell the first order of shipments. Those will sellout today but no worries, a new shipment will arrive Monday morning. They are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday 10 a.m. until 7 p.m.
This gift shop will cash in big on the Bulldogs run. They will do more business the next two weeks than they have done all year.
Houston bound, Butler faces Virginia Commonwealth (VCU) Saturday in the semi-finals. Tip-off set for 6:09 p.m. on CBS. The Bulldogs will wear their home (white) jerseys because they are the lower seed.
