Video: Lawrence North’s Michael Chandler fights North Central player

Friday night’s Indiana basketball high school sectional 10 game brought the emotions out of both Lawrence North and North Central. The two teams have a strong dislike for each other led by coaches Jack Keefer (LN) and Doug Mitchell (NC).

During the 2nd quarter, Lawrence North’s (and Central Florida commit) Michael Chandler throws serious punches at Tim Bass of North Central. Both are ejected and Bass was forced to sit out the Panthers sectional championship win over Lawrence Central on Saturday.

It’s an ugly scene…even fans get involved. Watch below:

you forgot to mention Dvauntes Smith Rivera throwing a punch. A punch is felony assault, plain and simple. Charges should be filed and Smith-Rivera should be suspended indefinately. Suspended for one game.. seriously??? Where is the outrage??? An Oregon player was suspended for a season because of his punch. What DSR did was wrong…PERIOD. Because its in the confines of a basketball game doesn’t give him a pass. If he cant control his temper, he shouldn’t be playing the game, and that goes for Mitchell too! If he cant control his players, get another job! RETIRE!! The way NC basketball is run is disgusting!!!

I’m confused, because I thought DSR was #44, but the guy that did that was #24? Did he change his number?
